New Balance Shoes: From $5 to $115

I happened to be at a Goodwill when they were putting out some shoes and ended up getting four or five brand new pairs of shoes. A couple of really good New Balance shoes were in there, and I sold them for $115 plus shipping. I only paid $5 for them, and they were new without tags or box. Keep an eye out for brand new shoes at thrift stores.

Sony Betamax Player: From $150

I sold this Sony Betamax player for $150 plus shipping. I got it at Salvation Army before it closed and finally got around to listing it. It sold in less than a week, and I probably could have gotten a bit more for it. It’s missing the door and is not a newer or more desirable model, but it does have the remote. If you come across vintage electronics, they can be worth a lot of money.

Vintage YX Badminton Racket: From $2 to $90

I got this vintage YX badminton racket at Goodwill for $2 and sold it for $90 plus shipping. It took about a week and a half to sell, but it was definitely worth it. Keep an eye out for vintage sports equipment at thrift stores.

Beetle Juice Blu-rays: From $20 to $18

I ended up getting five of these Beetle Juice Blu-rays brand new sealed for $20. I sold them for $18 each, and this is the last one. I made some good profit after I sold them all. Keep an eye out for brand new movies at thrift stores.

Rival Crockpot Lid: From $23

I bought an actual crockpot with the lid and pieces for only $2 at Goodwill. Oddly enough, the whole crockpot was only selling for around $20 plus shipping, but the lid I sold for $23.88 cents plus shipping, and it sold within 24 hours. Keep an eye out for unique crockpot pieces at thrift stores.

Kiss Boots: From $90

I found these Kiss boots at Goodwill for $40, but looking up comps, the only pair that was on eBay at the moment was from Canada and they had them priced at $450. There was another pair that had sold on auction for about $140, so I priced these kind of high just to see if they would sell. I ended up selling them for $90 plus shipping, and they still sold within about a week. Keep an eye out for unique and rare items at thrift stores.
